Alice is a wonderfully kind and friendly photographer who can bring out the natural smile in the most awkward of models (read, Clare’s husband Jake). Here’s what she has to say about shooting weddings; “My approach to shooting weddings is 90% of the time to be as inconspicuous as possible. You may notice that most of the images I share are natural moments and these are the moments that my clients seem to love the most because they are a real reflection of that person, that relationship in that second.”

The Midnight Garden Flower Farm, run by Cathy, a grower and florist with a difference! Her flowers are grown organically, and locally to Cambridge, she uses whatever is in season to make the most beautiful natural arrangements for weddings and other events. Here is what Cathy has to say about her flowers; “As a grower and florist, I grow flowers first and foremost because I love them, and my love of them makes me want to share their beauty with as many people as I can.”

Cathy only does a small number of weddings per year, as the majority of her time is taken up with growing, so drop her an email via her website asap to check availability.

Cara is a consistently great performer, singing and playing beautifully, tune after tune for your wedding ceremony, wedding breakfast, first dance, evening reception… she can do it all! Cara is an absolute pro! When Cara played our wedding in May she arrived on time, dressed beautifully, she set up quickly and was completely charming and professional. She played non stop for several hours for our ceremony and drinks reception without repeating a song. We absolutely loved her, and all our guests did too. Especially little Penny aged 17 months who didn’t stop dancing! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding singer, she’s fantastic!

Burloes Hall, near Royston in Cambridgeshire is a stunning Queen Anne Style country house. But, you perhaps won’t even notice the beautiful old Hall, as to do so, you’d have to tear yourself away from the incredible countryside vistas surrounding the venue! Katherine and Nicole who run weddings and events at the venue focus all their attention on making your day truly spectacular and memorable. My sister and her husband married there in 2018 and this is what they said;

“Nicole and Katharine couldn’t have done enough for us, making us feel special. Nothing was too much and they really made the process a joy!” George & Ellie

mobile bar

The Gin Kitchen is a mobile bar, run by mother and daughter team Chloe and Trudi, serving gin, pimms, and cocktails from their converted horse box trailer - perfect for a wedding reception, giving your guests the choice of a snazzy garnished G&T rather than the classic champagne.

Or why not book one of their gin tasting packages for your party/hen do? You won’t go thirsty that’s for sure! These lovely ladies served us some amazing Mediterranean gin at one of their gin tastings this spring, and now we are regulars at their events - see you there!
